Our Supporters

Leonardo DiCaprio – Actor/Environmentalist

The environment and the fight for the world’s poor are inherently linked. The planet can no longer wait, the underprivileged can no longer be ignored. This is truly our moment for action. Please take action.

Miya Ando – Artist

It is such an honor to support Mama Earth and the superb work they do in the world. It’s truly a privelege to create a wishing mandala for the cause and invite people to make a wish or say a prayer and cast a bodhi leaf, from the type of tree under which The Buddha gained enlightenment. I’m a lifelong environmentalist and lover of the sea, having grown up near the Pacific Ocean in Santa Cruz, California as well as The Seto Inland Sea in Japan. It is imperative to save our oceans and put forth actions to preserve our beautiful planet.

Steve Angeles – Journalist

As a journalist, I’ve covered many disasters, and I’ve seen how Mother Nature cries in the form of mudslides, tornadoes, and fires. As citizens of the world, we can do better to take care of the environment, especially for the Philippines, my homeland.
If we’re gonna have Pinoy Pride in our kababayan’s achievements, we need to also have pride in taking care of the environment.

Apl de Ap – Recording Artist

Cleaning the environment is an issue we all need to partake in. I’m committed to empowering Filipino youth whether through my Apl.de.ap Foundation or partnering with other dope people who have a common goal in beautifying and investing in the Philippines. It’s important to leave our country better than we inherited it for the next generation, and working with Pride4PI to united like-minded U.S., Hawaii, and Filipinos across the globe to be prideful and initiate a movement is a strong passion of mine.

Anthony – Influencer

Growing up and going to school in the Philippines I remember always going to the beaches. It was an unforgettable experience. On my last trip as an adult I was reminded of the beauty of the islands and now I want to help get involved on preserving that for generations to come. So I’m happy to support #Pride4Ph on their mission to preserve the Philippines alongside supporters like Leonardo DiCaprio, Bruno Mars & Apl.de.ap of the Black Eyed Peas. I look forward to use my years of experience in promotion to thousands of people monthly, to promoting something positive like discovering or returning to the beauty of the Philippines.

Travis Atreo – Musical Artist

Many people don’t know this, but I was born in the Philippines, specifically Subic Bay military base. Growing up in the States my mom always instilled in me how important it is to stay connected to my home country and continue to give back. We as people have the power to do so much, all we need to do is take action.
I’m proud to support the #Proud4PH initiative and was honored to attend the #OnePeaceFestival!

Nikki Blades – DJ/Model

No one would be where they are today without the help from someone. Maybe a friend, family member, or stranger has gone out of their way to give back to you in one way or another. Working with #Pride4PI is a chance to help others that can go on to make a difference in someone else’s life. Being apart of something bigger than yourself with what #Pride4PI means to me. In the end I just want to give back and inspire others to do the same.

Join us.”

Rommel Conclara – Broadcast Journalist

As a broadcast journalist, I often play as a liaison of information to our vast Filipino, Filipino-American community. But I cannot be on the sidelines for this opportunity. This is a great chance to be involved in the clean up and preservation of our homeland

Joey Guila – Comedian

I love the ocean, I never learned how to swim properly because I never wanted my perm wet. We forget that half of the oxygen we breathe is generated by our oceans. I want to help keep it clean and make sure Aquaman don’t get Asthma. I chose to be a comedian to heal people, I’m looking forward to being a part of Pride 4 PI to heal Mother Earth.

Ruby Ibarra – Rapper/Poet

The Philippines is such a beautiful country with a vast amount of rich natural resources, so it is important for us to protect these things, and most especially, protect the beautiful people that live in it. We can do so by raising awareness and importantly, work towards creating initiatives and taking actions that will eliminate pollution and combat climate change. It is critical now more than ever that we are proactive moreso than we are reactive in restoring the Philippines. As a Filipina-American, I support the #Pride4PI initiative and will use my platform to make sure that I help.

Jaygee Macapugay – Broadway Performer

I visited the Philippines a handful of times as a child, and in 2008, I took my first trip there as an adult. It changed my life; until that point, I’d never experienced the sunset in Manila Bay. In my career as an artist, I’ve had the good fortune of visiting several countries, and witnessing beautiful sites but I’ve never experienced anything as gorgeous as that sunset. It was the most pride I’ve felt as a Filipino. Now, Manila Bay needs our help. I’d like to do whatever I can to provide support. I believe that if we come together with the common goal of raising awareness of how environmental health impacts the well being of the Philippine Islands, we can spread this movement globally.

Martin Nievera – Concert King of the Philippines

I know how hard the Filipino works. They sacrifice so much to excel in other countries. Why not bring home the pride? Give us reason to be proud. Represent your country well. That’s why I am for #Pride4PI.

Melissa Polinar – Singer/Songwriter

We all need to feel a sense of urgency to take care of our planet. As much as we get overwhelmed with the task at hand, we all can start small or within our community. I feel a sense of familial connection with this cause because of my family heritage coming from the Philippines. My parents have a strong connection with the land and ocean having born and raised there. And I in turn have a sense of duty to help preserve it for the present and future generations. I feel honored and humbled. Mabuhay.

Johnny Valentine – Hawaii’s Favorite Entertainer

My parents brought us to Hawaii when I was only 8 years old. I have many fond memories of my childhood in the Philippines and love returning to visit. #Pride4Ph is a great opportunity to honor my heritage, help the people of the Philippines and make a significant impact on our environment. I hope you will all join me in supporting this worthy cause.

Brian Viloria – 4x World Boxing Champion

Growing up in the Philippines, I only have fond memories and had the beautiful culture mold me to the person I am today. From spending my first 5 years of my life with family in Ilocos Sur, to winning my second world title in Manila, Philippines will always hold a special place in my heart, and its only fitting that I do my part to help in the cleanup and support the Pride 4 PI initiative. Aloha and Mabuhay Ka Pilipinas!
